Em nên dùng modem ADSL của ISP (nhà cung cấp mạng), vì khi mạng bị trục trặc, nó không thể đổ thừa là do thiết bị đầu cuối không tương thích, còn em muốn xài Wi-Fi thì mua thêm 1 cái Wi-Fi Router, cộng 2 cái lại giá cũng không chênh lệch nhiều so với dùng 2 in 1 đâu. Còn Linksys hay D-Link thì cũng vậy thôi, phạm vi của nhà em 2 tầng thì thoải mái.

Còn đây là hướng dẫn cách thiết lập pass truy cập Wifi của D-Link DSL-2640B trên website của D-Link, anh nghĩ em tham khảo để nắm căn bản, những loại khác thì cũng không nằm ngoài vấn đề này đâu.
Step 1 Open a web browser and type the IP address of the DSL-2640B router into the address bar (default is http://192.168.1.1). Press Enter.

Step 2 The default username is admin (all lower case) and the default password is admin (all lower case). Click on OK.

Step 3 Click on the Home tab at the top and then click on Wireless on the left-hand side.

Step 4 Click on the Security button on the bottom of the page.

Step 5 Change the Network Authentication to the desired WPA operation mode. The available modes are WPA, WPA2, and Mixed WPA2/WPA. Most home users will want to use Mixed WPA2/WPA-PSK.

Step 6 Enter the desired Pre Shared Key in the WPA Pre-Shared Key Box. The Pre Shared Key has a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 63 characters. You can use any letter or number on the keyboard.

Please note that the Pre Shared Key is case sensitive, "A" is not equal to "a".

Step 7 The WPA Group Rekey Interval should be 3600.

Step 8 Select the desired WPA Encryption: TKIP, AES, or TKIP+AES. Most users will want to use TKIP+AES.

Step 9 WEP Encryption should be Disabled.

Step 10 Click the Apply button.
